BIFFY Clyro have been confirmed as headliners for the 2007 Kerrang! Tour.
The Glasgow three-piece, who are working on their new album, will head a bill which also includes Californian punk rock n rollers The Bronx, Chicago pop punkers theAudition and Californian goth metal crew I Am Ghost.
"This tour means a lot to us," said Biffy Clyro bassist James Johnston.
"Kerrang! has always supported us and it’s a real privilege to be part of this. We’re very excited to be headlining and we can’t wait to rawk.
"We feel most at home on the road so it’s great to be going on tour again. There are people all over the country that we can’t wait to see, so roll on the New Year."
And he said gig goers could expect some new material on the tour, as the band winds up recording with producer ggGarth Richardson (Kerbdog, Foo Fighters).
"We’re really looking forward to playing some new songs," he added.
"It’s also cool that we’re playing with bands we haven’t seen or met before. It adds an extra anticipation to the proceedings, so we’re looking forward to that. It will be interesting to see the differing styles of music on show."
The Bronx however, knew they were already on the tour before Kerrang! even asked them.
"We suggested to the Kerrang! staff that they visit the mystic that The Bronx consult with on a weekly basis," joked The Bronx guitarist Joby J. Ford.
"At first they were skeptical, but then we told them about the taco stand next door and they were sold.
"And we got the Kerrang! tour. Good thing we slipped the mystic $20 (£10)."
TheAudition frontman Danny Stevens said it was an "honour" to be on the tour.
"I’m so stoked that we’re able to be a part of the Kerrang! Tour," he said.
"It’s such an honour that fans in the UK would want to have us back. Expect some crazy sh*t from theAudizzle. See you in January."
